ABOUT WESTERN STEEL
Western Steel & Supply was founded as Western Machinery Exchange in 1923 in Aberdeen, Washington by William Rosenkrantz to fabricate, manufacture and repair saw mill and logging equipment for the local lumber industry. In 1946, the business was inherited by the next generation and, over a number of years, operations transitioned into a steel service center and industrial supply company.
In 2019, Western Steel changed ownership, but remains family owned and operated. Maintaining an extensive inventory of steel products, fasteners, pipe fittings, and its own fleet of trucks, the company provides prompt and dependable deliveries of prime steel products all over Western Washington and Oregon.
